JEZ System
Problem Statement
JEZ System is a comprehensive system designed to support Jersey Zone’s operations in various aspects, including ordering, e-commerce, inventory management, employee management, and point-of-sale (POS) system. With JEZ System, Jersey Zone can monitor stock items in real-time, perform cashier transactions quickly, and maintain organized data records. The system not only helps with inventory management, but also enhances customer experience by providing accurate information on product availability. In addition, JEZ System is equipped with data analysis features, allowing managers to make better decisions based on insights from sales and inventory data. Thus, JEZ System plays an important role in improving Jersey Zone’s operational efficiency and overall business performance.
Solution And Approach
The solution offered for this project is to use Laravel and PHP as the main framework. The choice of Laravel is very appropriate because this framework provides a clear Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural structure, making it easier to develop and maintain applications. In addition, Laravel supports the use of Bootstrap, allowing developers to quickly create responsive and attractive user interfaces. For its database, the application uses MySQL, which is known for its reliable performance and ability to handle large volumes of data. The combination of these three technologies is expected to improve the efficiency of the development process and ensure that the resulting application is reliable and easily accessible to users.
Contribution
My contribution to this project as a fullstack developer covered various important aspects that played a role in the development and improvement of the system. One of my main tasks was to customize the existing features to suit the needs and business processes run by Jersey Zone (JEZ). In addition, I was also responsible for migrating data from the previously used system, Mokapos, into the database integrated with the JEZ System, ensuring that all important data moved safely and without loss of information.
Not only that, I was also active in adding new features according to team requests and user needs, aiming to improve functionality and user experience in the system. In addition to feature development, I also perform server management to ensure that all applications run optimally, securely, and can be accessed properly by users. With the combination of these tasks, I strive to make a significant contribution in creating an efficient and effective system to support Jersey Zone’s operation
